Phillip Lumbang has started an ad campaign. One of his commissioned murals in a residential Area is being removed by the city because one single person complained about it. Same thing is happening to me. What a great way for Building and Safety to get paid, no?....ridiculous. This is so very idiotic. Phillip is not the only one who has been discriminated with this. So has many other artists including myself. Some Murals just get buffed without question because they are maybe in communities they have no respect for.
Well Phillip Lumbang is one of the guest artists invited by our Management Team in Room 13 at Foshay Learning Center. Phillip believes in our program and he saw the perfect opportunity to support Room 13 and it's endevours. With his campaign he will donate a portion of Print sales to Room 13 which as you might know already, a self sustainable network of art studios.
